Conflict
Abstracts mean a lot of things to different artist and can ever be quiet clear on what they are painting, but you get a feel. Is it anger, happy, sadness, or is it conflict? Abstract conflict painting represents the value in painting, by the feel you get when you look at it and the way it is painted. A lot of conflict paintings start out clam then add sharp lines to the painting. Texture could be add to give the painting more meaning.
As my art was given an assignment to paint abstract painting. What my painting represents is the way conflict is shown in everyday life such as a thunder storm, or war. As when I first started this painting I started being clam until I added a sharp yellow. I learned that conflict takes time and not to rush it. An abstract should have meaning not just a bunch of lines thrown together. The painting should have value.
